Absolutely. We will have some seating areas throughout the park, but if you want a guaranteed place to sit, we definitely recommend bringing a chair (only basic folding chairs, please – see Allowed Items). Please be mindful of signage showing where chairs are not allowed in various areas.
Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the festival grounds. If you have a special medical dietary restriction, you may bring enough food for the one person for the day. You are also allowed to bring prescription medications inside, provided the medicine has a prescription label with the attendee’s name. Medicines needing to be inhaled, vaped, etc., are prohibited unless in a prescribed inhaler. All medically necessary items must be checked in with security at the front gate.
You can fly into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). If direct flights to Austin aren’t available, you can fly into San Antonio International Airport (SAT), and then drive one hour to Buda.
From Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, take Highway 71 west to Highway 35 south. From San Antonio International Airport, take Highway 35 north. You can either rent a car at the airport or choose your preferred Rideshare option.
If the festival does not sell out, there will be a limited number of tickets sold at the gate at a higher price than online.

Yes, there will be multiple bars in the General Admission and VIP areas of the festival. Anyone who drinks must show appropriate age identification. Anyone found drinking without age identification or drinking underage will be removed from the event and possibly arrested.
Railcar Revival is an outdoor, rain or shine event. No refunds will be provided for any temporary evacuation due to weather. Note: In the instance of severe weather, the festival will be temporarily evacuated until it is safe to return. Festival organizers will be working closely with local authorities and artist management to determine the safest course of action. We will take every course of action to limit delays and/or cancellations. As we all know, Texas weather is unpredictable so please come prepared for any weather situation.
Absolutely! We will have local food trucks and other food options available at the festival. The food trucks will be open all day for your convenience.
Yes, Railcar Revival is an all-ages event. Please keep in mind that alcohol is served at this event, which is adult-themed (including the music) and does not have designated areas for kids. Kids 10 and under are admitted free, while older than 10 will require a ticket. Kids 10 must be accompanied by an adult ticket-holder, and kids under 10 may go in all the same areas their adult ticket-holder can based on their ticket type.

Our Safety Management Team will continue to work closely with our local and regional law enforcement and public safety partners to raise our preparedness and ensure the event provides a safe, secure, and positive environment for all attendees, artists, and staff. Of course, staying safe means doing your part to look out for one another. In the event you see suspicious behavior, always alert uniform law enforcement or dial 911. The Festival is wheelchair accessible but is a large, outdoor venue with a mix of surfaces.
There is ADA parking onsite. Look for the ‘ADA Parking’ signs or ask an officer to direct you to the correct parking lot.
All attendees must have an event ticket for admission into Railcar Revival – purchasing a separate accessible ticket is not necessary. Please visit the ‘Tickets & Will Call’ Tent (next to the Main Entrance) for information on the ADA viewing area.
